Long Term Strategy

As part of our greater vision, we have opened a pre-school learning center (A Joyful Noise) in an effort to better serve the families in our community.  As part of this vision we are in the process of developing relationships with local families in an effort to, not only strengthen their spiritual life, but their day-to-day practical needs and concerns as well.  Interestingly, based on our more recent surveys, safety is at the top of their list, so we are thankful that we can serve in this area.  But our vision is not limited in scope.  Our long-term strategy is to help the community develop itself by developing leaders who will be better equipped to give back to it.  We now offer ESL classes;  we will soon be offering small group recovery ministries; and ultimately we will be planting new churches.  Come and make a difference!

Things we ARE:

Things we ARE NOT:

  • A safe place to share.
  • A refuge.
  • A place of belonging.
  • A place to care for others and be cared for.
  • Where respect is given to each member.
  • Where confidentiality is highly regarded.
  • A place to learn.
  • A place to demonstrate genuine love.
  • A place to grow and become strong again.
  • A place to progress.
  • Where you can take off your mask and allow others to know who you are.
  • A place for healthy challenges and healthy risks.
  • A possible turning point in your life.
  • A place for selfish control.
  • Therapy.
  • A place for secrets.
  • A place to look for dating relationships.
  • A place to rescue or be rescued by others.
  • A place for perfection.
  • A long-term commitment.
  • A place to judge others.
  • A quick fix.

Steps to Peace with God:

Good News!    God loves you and wants you to experience His peace and life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

To receive Christ:

ADMIT your spiritual need,  "I am a sinner."

REPENT and be willing to turn from your sin.

BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.

RECEIVE Jesus into your heart & life through prayer.

"Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

What to pray:

Dear, Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  I believe that You died for my sins.  I want to turn from my sins.  I now invite You to come into my heart and life.  I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior.  In Jesus' name I pray,  Amen.

Hallelujah!!!
